On Wednesday December 10th, an extra special flower arrangement was installed for an extra special Loftie gathering.
Wind Down Wednesday was conceived by the team in the Fall. We wanted to practice what we preach a little more tangibly and turn our office into a third space. A place to be slow in the middle of a busy week, in a busy city.
Intimate. Offline. Easy. Unhurried. Together.

No better way to begin than with a product launch and, as fate would have it, we had our new Metal Clocks to celebrate.
Midnight, Penny, and Chrome gleamed prettily on their pedestals, waiting to be admired, while the candles danced in anticipation of our guests.

An intentional activity is central to Wind Down Wednesday. By disconnecting from our phones, we offer a reprise - a return to something tactile, something creative or restorative.
Immersed in the metallic splendor of the evening, embossing tin ornaments naturally became the activity of the night.

You’d be surprised what you can do with a little metal, an idea, and some patience. It wasn’t just the metal. The whole room, the whole mood felt shiny, cool, and reflective.
Guests chatted with their neighbors at the table, swapping stories from the week. They giggled and focused, getting the hang of the embossing tools. We raffled off three clocks and Sam, Julia, and Isabella took them home.

Tsk! Pshhht! That crisp crack of a can. It wouldn’t be a party without a choice beverage, and we couldn’t get enough of ours. Ghia’s charming cans littered the table, adding to our ambiance.
& here’s just a few more photos because I can’t help it.
Twas the perfect midweek gathering and a gentle holiday send-off. Everything glimmered, everyone shone. It was a Wednesday miracle.
Don’t miss the next one!
